Manager reports deposit missing from Lawrenceburg business

The manager at a Lawrenceburg business informed authorities Saturday that a bank deposit prepared the previous day had gone missing.

Officers with the Lawrenceburg Police Department were summoned to Great Clips, located at 1718 North Locust Avenue, shortly after 1:00 p.m. The manager reported that she had made the discovery at around 8:45 that morning.

The manager reported discovering that the bank deposit from the previous day, totaling $210, was missing. She said that she had spoken with the employee who closed the business Friday evening. She told her that she had prepared the deposit, then left it in the designated location.

The manager reported that that last employee to leave Friday evening did so at 9:00 p.m.

Investigation into the crime is currently continuing through the department's Criminal Investigation Division.
