Insurance office targeted in Sunday burglary

Lawrenceburg Now

Burglars who targeted an insurance office last weekend reportedly left a mess in their wake, but no damages were reported to the business itself.

Reports filed through the Lawrenceburg Police Department show that the burglary at Harold Webb Insurance, 631 North Military Avenue, occurred sometime between 2:00 p.m. on Saturday and 10:15 a.m. Sunday.

Reports indicate that the persons responsible rummaged through drawers and scattered things on the floors. At the time reports were filed, however, owners had been unable to identify anything as missing.

Officers ascertained that the intruders had entered through a door on the south side of the building. Investigation into the crime is on-going at the current time. Anyone with information should contact the department at 931-762-2276.
