Lawrenceburg Council Will Meet Thursday Morning

Lawrenceburg Now

Members of the Lawrenceburg Board of Mayor and Council will meet in regular session Thursday morning at the Lawrenceburg Municipal Complex.

On the agenda is an ordinance to “regulate and prohibit the parking of motor vehicles and other vehicles on Parris Street and Springer Drive from Lafayette Street to East Gaines Street.” The ordinance is being brought for first reading.

One ordinance up for consideration is to amend the city’s 2015-2016 budget. The final agenda item is a resolution “to declare certain property in the police department as surplus to be sold at auction on the web.”

The meeting is open to the public. It is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. inside the council meeting room.
