Motorcycle crash claims one life

A crash in Summertown involving a motorcycle claimed the life of a local man over the weekend.

Reports filed through the Tennessee Highway Patrol show that Cody Robert John Fehyl, 41, of Summertown was driving a 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle when he ran off the roadway in a curve and went down an embankment. The motorcycle overturned, then hit a tree and a rock.

The crash likely occurred at around 7:00 p.m. Friday but wasn’t discovered until around 5:00 p.m. Saturday. Fehyl died as a result of his injuries
