Burglar targets store in Dunn community
A store in the Dunn community was the target of a burglar Tuesday night. According to reports filed through the Lawrenceburg Police Department officers were called to Rick’s BBQ and Country Store at 2347 Highway 43 South at 4:44 a.m. An employee explained that he had arrived for work at 4:00 and noticed the drive-thru window had been broken.
He said once he noticed it he called for police assistance. Officers reported that a rock had been thrown through the window. They found it lying underneath a table across the room. Also, the office door was kicked open with a footprint visible.
The only things that appeared to be missing were some credit cards. Security video was reviewed by the owner and police officers. It showed a white male throw the rock, enter the business and take the items.
At the time the crime was committed he was wearing blue jeans and a white baseball cap with a black mask covering his face.
