Advertisement For Bids For City Of Loretto Swimming Pool Complex

Separate sealed bids for the construction of the City of Loretto Swimming Pool Complex to be located in Burke Park will be received by the City of Loretto at the Loretto City Hall until 11:30 a.m., local time, on October 16, 2015.

At said time and place, bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

A cashier’s check or Bid Bond payable to the City of Loretto in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the bid, but in no event more than $10,000, must accompany the bidder’s proposal. Performance and Payment Bonds and evidence of insurance required in the Bid Documents will be required at the signing of the Contract.

The Form of Bid, Drawings, Specifications, other documents may be examined at the following: City Manager's Office Loretto City Hall 415 North Military Street Loretto, TN 38469 (931) 853-6797 Bidders may obtain sets of Drawings and Specifications from DataTek-USA (256) 539-8402 for the cost of printing and handling (and shipping or delivery as applicable) paid directly to Datatek.

Addenda and other bidding information will be issued only to holders of Drawings and Specifications distributed by Datatek-USA. Bids must be submitted on the Bid Forms furnished by the City or on copies thereof.

All bidders and pool subcontractors (as applicable) must have a current State of Tennessee Contractor’s License (pool contractor must have a “swimming pool specialty”) and shall show evidence of license before bidding or bid will not be considered by the City; the bidder shall show such evidence by clearly displaying its current license number on the outside of the sealed envelope in which the proposal is delivered.

The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or reject any or all bids. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date.
