Lawrence County residents are receiving other items besides seeds from China.

Several Lawrence County residents are now reporting that they are starting to receive other items from China besides seeds.

Previously many residents throughout Lawrence County, and surrounding areas were receiving unsolicited seeds from China where the Lawrence County Sheriff's Department along with several local authorities had advised for residents to report any packages from China.

In recent weeks there have been several reports throughout Lawrence County of other unsolicited items such as socks, and Ray Ban sunglasses being sent to residents.

Anyone receiving items from China may contact local authorities who can assist residents in how to properly report unsolicited packages.
