Shot reportedly fired inside Rotary Park

Law enforcement officials initiated an investigation on Monday after a local man reported someone had fired a gun inside Rotary Park.
  
Reports filed through the Lawrenceburg Police Department show that the twenty-four year old victim had been playing basketball with some other people when he and another man began to argue. He said that the man went and got a gun out of his car and that he turned and ran away. While he was running, he said he heard one gunshot behind him.
  
The victim told officers that he took cover underneath a trailer and stayed there until he felt it was safe. By that time everyone had left.
  
The victim said he did not wish to press charges against the man and that he was not afraid of him. When officers went to the park they were unable to find any spent casings.
