Tuesday Crime Report
Lawrenceburg Now
Burglary
Police officers responded to Magee Storage on Centennial Boulevard in Lawrenceburg on Friday where the owner reported someone had cut off the lock on a unit and replaced it with a different lock. He said that he had filed a report the previous day when he noticed a couple removing items from one storage unit and placing their own lock on the unit, and that he had returned the items to their proper lockers. The person renting the affected storage unit reported that the contents had been moved about. The only thing she could say for certain that was stolen, at that time, was a 32” television valued at $415.
Theft
A resident of Prosser Road filed a complaint with police officers Thursday stating that an individual she knew had stolen her son’s bicycle and cell phone. The items had a combined value of approximately $200.
