Complainant reports that man was sending inappropriate photos to teen

Lawrenceburg Now

A concerned person filed a complaint with police officials last week after he discovered that a thirty-two year old acquaintance had been engaging in inappropriate behavior with a teenager.

The complainant, age 35, reported to Lawrenceburg Police officers that he had made the discovery after the man left his Facebook page open on his computer. He told officers that he saw inappropriate pictures and conversations that the man had been having with a seventeen year old.

The complainant told officers that he confronted the man about his discovery and that the man struck him on the left arm and left leg, causing bruises. He said that when he told him that he was going to call for police officers, the man fled. He told officers that he might have fled to Michigan.

Investigation into the matter is currently on-going through the department’s Criminal Investigation Division.
