Lawrence Woman Jailed On Meth Charges In Giles County

Lawrenceburg Now

A local woman was taken into custody in neighboring Giles County during the weekend on methamphetamine-related charges.

Officials with the Giles County Sheriff’s Department report that forty-three year old Theresa Dawn Duke of Lawrenceburg was arrested by deputies on Saturday. Charges issued against her included possession of meth and Schedule IV narcotics for the purpose of resale.

Duke was incarcerated at the Giles County Detention Center under bond exceeding $100,000. She has been scheduled an initial General Sessions court appearance on September 15, 2015.
