Neighbor identifies alleged burglar

Lawrenceburg Now

The neighbor of a Deerhollow Drive resident targeted by burglars last week was able to identify the suspect for police officers.

The thirty-four year old victim reported to Lawrenceburg Police officers that she had been hospitalized and, once released, returned to home to find that some of her belongings were missing.

The victim reported that a cell phone, insulin syringes, cigarettes, a USB drive, various items of clothing, and $208 in cash had been stolen. She said that the person responsible had likely gained access through an unsecured back door.

A neighbor reported that she had seen a woman she knew coming from the rear of the home during that time period carrying a basket of clothing. She said the woman left in a blue Ford truck.

The matter currently remains under investigation.
