Old School Bus Vandalized With BB Gun

A BB gun is the instrument law enforcement officials say was used to vandalize a privately-owned school bus on a Sixth Street property late last week.

Officers with the Lawrenceburg Police Department reported that the bus sustained around $200 worth of damage as a result of the crime.

The owner reported that on Thursday, he had initially noticed damage to one side of the windshield. He told officers that he had placed plywood over the damaged window in an effort to prevent further vandalism.

When he checked the bus on Friday, the owner said that a side window had been shattered. In both instances officers said it appeared that a BB gun had been used to inflict the damage.
