Vehicle burglary
A twenty-one year old Good Hope Road resident stopped by the sheriff’s department to report that an Apple watch had been stolen out of his Jeep Wrangler. Loss was said to be $300.
Vandalism
An Iron City resident reported a $400 loss to deputies last week after emerging from his place of work to find that the back window of his 2003 Toyota Scion had been broken. He said someone had been mowing nearby and he suspected that a rock had been thrown by a mower, causing the damage.
Shoplifting
Deputies spoke with employees of the Leoma Dollar General Store on Highway 43 South recently, who reported a shoplifting event. They said a review of security video showed that a man had cut open a package and took the cell phone and accessories inside. He left the package, then exited the store without paying for the items. Loss was approximately $50.
Burglary
Deputies were asked to investigate the theft of a laptop computer from a Danley Road, Iron City residence that resulted in a $300 loss. The victim reported that his deceased father’s social security card and photo ID had also been stolen. He said he had last seen the items approximately three weeks before.
Theft
A resident of Fawn Lane filed a complaint with deputies, indicating that someone had stolen $900 out of her purse overnight while she slept. She told deputies that her roommate had confessed to committing the crime. At the time reports were filed deputies had been unable to make contact with the suspect.
Fraudulent use of a credit card
A seventy-eight year old Leoma resident filed a complaint with deputies after discovering that fraudulent charges totaling $1,083 had been made to her Discover Card. She was made aware of the matter when she was contacted by the card company regarding suspicious charges.
Burglary
A Wesley Chapel Road resident reported to deputies that approximately 250 pieces of fine china, valued at $5,000, had been stolen out of her house while she was away. She told them that she her home had been burglarized numerous times and, as a result, she was in the process of moving.

Deputies investigated the burglary of a home on Brace Road in Summertown where thieves gained entry by way of a front window. Stereo equipment valued at $600 was reported stolen.
Burglary
A man who had been remodeling a home on Glenn Springs Road reported a burglary to deputies. He said that someone had pried open a door and stole several tools with a combined value of around $500. Missing items included a ten gallon air compressor, nail gun, cordless drill, and a tool box full of sockets.
Mailbox vandalism
Deputies investigated the vandalism of a mailbox at a Henkel Drive home that resulted in damages of approximately $100. The victim said that the mailbox, along with a neighboring mailbox, had been smashed during the previous night.

A resident of Crowder Road reported around $100 worth of damage after discovering that someone had vandalized her mailbox. She told deputies the damage had been incurred the previous night.
Stolen four-wheeler
A loss of $1,500 was reported by the owner of a 1993 Kodiak four-wheeler. The owner told deputies that it had been taken from a garage in his back yard on Freeman Hill Road.

Deputies responded to a Tingle Trapp Road home where the resident reported her mailbox had been vandalized, resulting in $50 worth of damage.
