Local Quick Mart employee notifies the police after witnessing a man littering in the car wash where one of the items thrown out was a woman's wallet.

The Lawrenceburg police department was dispatched to a local Quick Mart with reports of littering in a car wash by a male subject.

Upon arrival the officer spoke with employees that stated they witnessed Steven Clifton emptying the contents of a black car onto the ground of the car wash, and one of the items was a woman's red wallet that contained her Tennessee driver's license.

The officer then went to the woman's residence on the driver's license to return the wallet as well as inform her of the incident that occurred, but even with the evidence the female victim did not believe that Clifton had done this.

Contact was made with Clifton by police where he was issued a citation for littering and then was released.
