Burglary
A resident of Wisdom Road reported to deputies Monday that after he walked to a nearby creek, someone had broken into his home and stole more than $2,000 worth of his belongings. Missing were game systems, video games, DVDs, computer games, a lock box, medications, $700 in cash, and the deed to his property.
Theft
On Tuesday a resident of Ridge Lane reported to deputies that he had been away from home for around one hour, returning to find that someone had cut the locks off of a metal box and stolen his prescription medications. The culprit left a letter behind, explaining the reasoning behind his actions however the victim said he did not know who had written the letter. Loss totaled around $50.
Theft
Loss Prevention personnel at Walmart reported to police officers Tuesday that a Lexington, Alabama woman had attempted to abscond with around $60 worth of merchandise. All items were returned to the store.
Theft
An employee of a tire business on Buffalo Road reported to police officers Tuesday that more than $200 worth of tires had been stolen from the shop area.
Theft
The owner of Fancy Pants on the Lawrenceburg Public Square reported to police officers Tuesday that she had located some empty hangers, then realized that three specially-made outfits had been stolen. She estimated loss to be $100.
Vandalism
On Tuesday a resident of Berger Street reported to police officers that bricks had been thrown through a window of her 2013 Toyota Highlander. Damages were estimated at $950.
