Thursday Crime Report
Theft
Police officers responded to a Fifth Street home Wednesday where the resident reported that her son’s red Huffy bicycle had been stolen. She said that the culprit had apparently left a silver Mongoose bike with two flat tires in its stead. The bicycle has an estimated value of $70.
Vandalism
A Fifth Avenue resident reported some $500 worth of damage to the paint on his 2005 Lincoln Town Car Wednesday. He told police officers that that he believed the car had sustained several scratches while it was parked in the Kroger parking lot on North Locust Avenue.
Theft
Officers were called to Debus Street home on Wednesday where the resident reported that her city-owned garbage container had been stolen. She told officers that it was taken sometime after 11:30 the previous night. She said that the container had been filled with trash and would have been heavy and difficult to move. Loss to the City of Lawrenceburg is approximately $150.
Theft
On Tuesday, police officers made their way to a home on Clearview Avenue where a Pulaski woman reported that someone had stolen a bottle of Oxycodone pills while she was visiting. She estimated her loss at $100.
Theft
Officers were summoned to Fast Stop #3 on North Locust Avenue early Tuesday where an employee reported that an individual had pumped $20.85 worth of gasoline, then drove away without paying. The employee reported that individual responsible for the crime was driving a sandstone colored Chevrolet Tahoe.
