Driver of motorcycle perishes in Saturday crash

Lawrenceburg Now

A motorcycle crash Saturday on Valley Road resulted in the death of a Lawrenceburg man.

According to reports filed through the Tennessee Highway Patrol, the single vehicle crash resulted in the death of sixty-eight year old David L. Thrasher.

Reports show that Thrasher was traveling eastbound on Valley Road on a 2001 Harley Davidson when the motorcycle traveled off of the right side of the roadway and into a ditch. The motorcycle turned onto its side and slid along the ditch, over several large rocks, then came to rest atop of Thrasher.

The accident was investigated by Trooper Trae Dickson.
