Job Fairs Daily From August 17 - 21 At Lawrenceburg Center

A hiring event with Aguire International Inc. on Monday, Aug. 17, will launch a week of daily job fairs at the Goodwill Career Solutions center at 1604 N. Locust Ave. in Lawrenceburg.

Aguire International Inc., a provider of products and services for the automotive, aerospace, consumer products, workforce development and other industries, is seeking 20 quality inspectors for multiple shifts in Pulaski. The Goodwill-hosted job fair for Aguire will be from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on Monday.

Job candidates must be able to lift more than 40 pounds and work in hot, cold and noisy environments. They must also pass vision, drug and background screenings and have a valid drivers license, automobile insurance and a high school diploma or equivalent. The starting salary is $10.50 per hour.

Following are other job fairs planned at the Lawrenceburg Goodwill Career Solutions center during the week:

• Tuesday, Aug. 18, 9 a.m.-noon, The Tennessean Home Improvement Construction Co. seeks painters, carpenters and a cleaning crew.

• Wednesday, Aug. 19, 9-11 a.m., Express Employment Professionals seeks manufacturing and shipping/receiving workers, forklift and press operators and more.

• Thursday, Aug. 20, 10 a.m.-noon, Randstad USA seeks assembly workers, material handlers, forklift and press operators and welders.

• Friday, Aug. 21, 9 a.m.-noon, SMX seeks warehouse workers for Amazon’s Middle Tennessee facilities.

Representatives from these companies will be on site during their respective job fairs and interviews are possible, so job-seekers should dress for success. Job candidates are encouraged to bring a resume, photo ID, Social Security card or birth certificate.
