Three new buses for LCSS

The school year is off to a great start and this year's bus fleet includes three new buses to transport students to and from school. 

Lawrence County School System will be continuing to update buses with the intent of purchasing three new buses each year in order to meet state requirements.  

County Executive, T. R. Williams,  Director of Schools, Johnny McDaniel, County Government and local school board members have worked closely to ensure the safety of our children and the purchase of buses is one crucial component. 

Our current School Bus Garage Supervisor, Patsy Davis has done an incredible job staying on top of the process of bus evaluations and overseeing safety of our students.
