Aggravated burglary
Lawrence County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a County Farm Road, Ethridge home last week to investigate a residential burglary. Lawrenceburg Police officers assisting, cleared the residence prior to deputies’ arrival. The fifty-eight year old victim reported that he had returned to his home to find the front door was open and his 55: flat screen TV was missing. Deputies noted that it appeared the door had been kicked open. Loss and damages totaled around $1,700.
Theft
Deputies made their way to Iron City Saturday to investigate the theft of six catalytic converters and a 90s model Buick Skylark had been stolen from an Oak Street property. Loss resulting from the crime reportedly totaled $1,700.
Burglary
More than $5,000 worth of tools, engines, starters, welders and battery chargers were stolen when a shop located at a North Old Military Road, Summertown property was burglarized last weekend. Those responsible are believed to have gained entry through a rear window.
Burglary
Deputies responded to a fisher Hollow Road in Loretto Thursday where the owner reported a burglary. He told deputies that the couple renting the home was in the process of moving to Florida, but still had many of their belongings stored there. He passed by and noticed that a window had been left open. He told deputies that he went in to close the window and discovered that a propane heater had been pulled away from the wall. He called the mother of one of the residents. She came by and reported finding dog feces in the floor. Her daughter informed her that they had never had an animal inside the house. She said that when they return from Florida, the couple will check to see whether anything is missing.
Theft
The owner of a property under remodel on Weakley Creek Road reported to deputies that someone had stolen a gas pressure washer from beside the front porch. It had an estimated value of $350.
Theft
On Saturday deputies investigated a theft from a shed at a Nelson Road property. Missing were a boat motor, depth finder, tool box, cutting bits, Allen wrenches, 25 gallon sprayer, six inch vise on a metal table, and a five gallon bucket of nuts and bolts. Loss was said to total $777.
