Maury County Fire Department responded overnight to a single vehicle rollover accident were two patients had been ejected.

The Maury County Fire Department reported that their units responded overnight to a single vehicle rollover MVA on Mooresville Pike near Peach Orchard Road. 

Responding units with Engines 3, 10, Rescue 1, and District Chiefs 1 & 5 arrived at the scene to find that two patients had been ejected from the vehicle.

Two aircrafts were requested by EMS for the patients who were listed in critical condition where Lifeflight 4, and Air Evac 9 arrived to transport the injured from the scene.

All responding units did an extraordinary job safely handling this serious accident where the Maury County Fire Department issued a statement in regards to the EMS at the scene:

"Our hats are off to the tremendous work by Maury Regional EMS 136 personnel who worked feverishly to treat two critical patients with FD assistance until additional EMS resources could arrive. Our thoughts and prayers are with those involved."
