Woman who broke boyfriend’s wrist during domestic altercation arrested
Lawrenceburg Now
A Lawrenceburg woman was incarcerated Monday after she was accused of breaking her boyfriend’s wrist during a domestic altercation.
When Lawrenceburg Police officers arrived at the Crockett Street home, they report that the complainant, twenty-eight year old Nina Charistina Finamore, was in the yard. She told them that during a dispute, her fifty-eight year old boyfriend had yelled at her and pulled her hair. She said that she was able to get out of the residence and call for help.
Officers heard a different story when they spoke with the man. He told them that during a verbal dispute Finamore had struck him in the face, scratched his face, and kicked his wrist, breaking it. Officers noted that the man had sustained injuries consistent with his statement including a swollen eye, scratches on his face, and a “very swollen and knotted wrist.”
Emergency Medical Service personnel were summoned to the scene and verified that the man’s wrist was likely broken. As a result, Finamore was placed under arrest on a charge of aggravated domestic assault and transported to the Lawrence County Detention Center without further incident.
Finamore was incarcerated under a $10,000 bond with an initial court date set for September 1.
