Parents be aware of changes in traffic pattern at Coffman School
Lawrence County students will return to schools for half a day Friday to kick off the 2016-2017 school year. With that in mind, parents should be aware of some changes to traffic patterns at E. O. Coffman Middle School
Traffic changes at E.O. Coffman Middle School
Lawrenceburg Police Department officials reported that traffic in the vicinity of E.O. Coffman Middle School will be completely different beginning this school year. A study was undertaken through the Municipal Technical Advisory Service and suggested changes adopted. Parking along Lafayette Avenue is now prohibited. Although formerly the designated area for student pickup by parents, this area will now be used exclusively for bus loading and unloading. Bus drivers will drop off and pick up students using the southbound lane of Lafayette Avenue.
Parents dropping off or picking up students via private vehicle will now be required to use the rear entrance. Drivers should enter the campus through the College Street driveway and exit onto Lafayette Avenue.
