Joey Norman announces run for State Senate in the General Election in November

Joey Norman, is announcing his candidacy for 28th District State Senate (Giles, Lawrence, Lewis, Maury, Wayne, and Perry County). Mr. Norman is running as an Independent and released this statement “I vow myself only on the principle “We the People” and as an Independent my representation of the 28th district will be for the people and not a political agenda. It does not matter to me which political party you associate with, what matters to me is having your voice heard.” Mr. Norman was unopposed as an Independent in the Primary election and was not listed on the ballot. Mr. Norman will appear on the General Election Ballot November 8th, 2016.
Mr. Norman is the father of 4 beautiful children Miss Chelsey Mari Norman age 10. Catherine Gail, Clara Jewel, and Christian Neal Norman (little angels in heaven). Mr. Norman is a devout Christian father who attends Parkway Baptist Church and faces the world daily with the attitude “service above self” as it shows in his community involvement.
Mr. Norman has served his community for fifteen in emergency services. Mr. Norman has been a firefighter with the City of Columbia since 2001 and believes in the value of community service. Mr. Norman also assist the Maury county Emergency Management with providing valuable services to the citizens of Maury County and other counties throughout the State and also volunteers with Maury County Fire Department. Mr. Norman continues to offer services to his community and assist other counties in enhancing response, recovery, and safety measures in order to best protect and provide the most beneficial service to every citizen.
Mr. Norman sees the voices of the 28th district going unheard and is quoted by saying “it is my mission to make every voice count.”
According to Mr. Norman, "Health Care and Education in the 28th District is top priority." He adds, "We must see progress this legislative term and make programs work, instead there is valuable tax dollars being wasted on programs over and over again that does nothing to help the constituents get ahead in life."
Mr. Norman also concerns himself with bully legislation and comments “We should not pass judgement on another person nor should we enact laws that will. Neither should we set out to impose upon another’s rights. Our communities have been stricken with hatred, racism, and bullying and it is time to reunite and focus on the principle “We the People.” Let us make a change for a productive future. Joey Norman is for a working Senator and humbly ask for your Vote on November 8, 2016.
