Victims assaulted, held at gunpoint by assailants

Three victim reported to law enforcement officers Sunday that they had been assaulted and held at gunpoint by two assailants.

Officers with the Lawrenceburg Police Department were dispatched to 804 Fisher Alley shortly before 2:00 p.m. When they arrived, they report that one of the assailants was detained, but that the second, who was armed with a pistol, was able to jump a chain link fence in the back yard and flee on foot. He was last seen running north.

The victims reported that the detainee, identified as nineteen year old Isaiah G. Presley of Lawrenceburg, and his companion had come onto the property and attacked two of them on the front porch. They said Presley forced his way through the door, and that the altercation then moved inside.

The victims said that Presley continued to assault them while the other man held all three of them at gunpoint, and that they demanded money throughout the altercation.

Reports show that one of the victims had sustained a deep cut over his left eye and a cut on one finger. A second victim's face was swollen.

Presley was arrested on charges that include assault, aggravated assault and aggravated burglary. He was transported to the Lawrence County Detention Center where he was incarcerated under a $24,000 bond. He was scheduled an initial General Sessions Court appearance on September 7, 2017. At the time reports were filed the second assailant remained at-large.
