Sentence imposed in 2013 child porn case

Lawrenceburg Now

A man charged in connection with child pornography activities that occurred in Lawrence County was ordered to serve a thirty-five year prison sentence on Friday.

Mark K. White, a sixty-four year old resident of Nashville, was arrested in 2013 on charges that he had sexually molested young girls between the ages of four and seven while he was visiting with family members in Lawrenceburg.

An investigation undertaken through the Lawrenceburg Police Department, Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and Federal Bureau of Investigation uncovered more than four hundred child pornography images on White's computer. They determined that the abuse dated back to 2011.

White pleaded guilty in January of last year to charges that he both produced and possessed child porn.
