Maury Regional Medical Center Is Seeking Participants For A Focus Group

Maury Regional Medical Center (MRMC) is seeking participants for a focus group addressing the treatment of those living with serious or chronic health conditions. The group will meet on Tuesday, July 21, from 2-3:30 p.m. at Coleman Memorial United Methodist Church at 322 North Military Avenue in Lawrenceburg.

The focus group will discuss palliative care, a treatment plan focused on the physical, emotional and spiritual support of individuals who are diagnosed with a chronic disease or serious illness. Those personally diagnosed—as well as caregivers—are encouraged to participate. Some of the most common chronic conditions in southern Middle Tennessee include:

• Congestive Heart Failure

• Cancer

• Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)

• Alzheimer’s

• Renal Failure

• Cirrhosis

Prior to the focus group meeting, those chosen to participate will be notified that they are confirmed to attend. Each confirmed participant will receive a $25 gift card.
