Search warrant results in the seizure of an enormous amount of Drug Paraphernalia
Press release
On 07/11/2016, Detectives with the Lawrenceburg Police Department and Agents with the 22nd Judicial Drug Task Force executed a Search warrant at Bob’s Import Sales Inc. located at 1209 West Gaines St which resulted in the seizure of an enormous amount of Drug Paraphernalia.
The Search Warrant stemmed from an investigation consisting of two separate undercover operations in which undercover officers made purchases of illegal Drug Paraphernalia from the business in recent days.
The Lawrenceburg Police Department received complaints from individuals regarding the illegal activities. Undercover Officers then followed up the complaint with this investigation which yielded massive amounts of drug paraphernalia with possible ties to other out of state distribution centers.
As a result of the operations, warrants were issued against Mangalkumar L. Punjabi (70) and Vimalben M. Panjabi (68) both of Lawrenceburg. Both subjects were charged with (2) counts each Sale of Drug Paraphernalia and are scheduled to appear in Lawrence County General Sessions Court on August 4th.
