Friday Crime Report
Aggravated burglary
A fifty-six year old resident of Maple Avenue in Lawrenceburg reported to police officers Tuesday that her purse and contents (including $86 cash) along with a PlayStation 4 were stolen from her home while she was away during the previous weekend. She estimated her loss to total $729.
Theft
Police officers spoke with a Cecil Street resident Tuesday who reported that someone had stolen $140 in cash along with thirty Roxycodone pills from inside of her home. She said she was uncertain when the theft occurred. Loss was approximately $150.
Joyriding
On Tuesday, police officers spoke with a forty-three year old Second Street resident in Lawrenceburg who reported that his girlfriend had borrowed his 2002 Ford Focus that morning, and eight hours later had not returned it. Officers issued a BOLO for the vehicle. Officers on patrol noted that at 10:00 p.m. the car had been returned to the victim’s driveway; the keys deposited in the ashtray.
Aggravated burglary
A Clearview Avenue resident filed a complaint with police officers Tuesday, indicating that, while moving into her current home, some $2,650 worth of her belongings went missing. She told officers that a friend had helped her move. She reported that several items of jewelry were missing along with a Nintendo game system, Xbox Kinect, and other miscellaneous items. She told officers that she had checked at a North Locust Avenue pawn shop and located several of her jewelry items.
