The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department Update Jason Kirk Williams

The Lawrenceburg Police Department received a report of a stolen vehicle from a Sandrell’s Used Cars early in the day of June 30, 2015.

The vehicle, a 2014 Ford Mustang, was taken during the night after a white male was observed on surveillance equipment breaking into the business.

Investigators with the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department suspected Kirk may be involved and began to search the area after finding cans of Beanie Weenies behind the dumpster of Sandrell’s Used Cars. Jason Kirk had been known to hoard canned foods such as this he retrieved from the landfill.

Deputies with the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department located the black Chevrolet Silverado which was reported stolen on June 29, 2015 during Kirk’s escape on the lot of Heritage Automotive at approximately 4:00 PM this date.

Heritage Automotive is in close proximity to Sandrell’s Used Cars and Investigators determined Jason Kirk to be responsible for both thefts. Officials in Chester County, TN confirmed sightings of Jason Kirk on this date driving a dark colored Ford Mustang.

He is believed to be in the area of Chester County and may possibly be headed to Madison County, TN. The Ford Mustang is cobalt blue in color and may have dealer tags. Attached are photos of the surveillance video from Sandrell’s Used Cars and an image of the stolen Ford Mustang.
