Lawrence County Sheriff's Department along with K9 Stryker, the TBI, and the 22nd Judicial Drug Task force conducted a drug raid that yielded various narcotics including 100 grams of Methamphetamine.

On Monday The Lawrence County Sheriff's Department along with their K9 partner Stryker was assisted by the 22nd Judicial Drug Task Force and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation in conducting a search warrant at a Lawrenceburg residence on Big Springs Road.

According to Sheriff John Myers K9 Stryker helped Deputies locate narcotics within the residence where 100 grams of Methamphetamine, 16 grams of marijuana, along with various items of drug paraphernalia including glass pipes, scales, and baggies were also located inside the home.

Deputies also seized two vehicles during the search which was a 2013 Cadillac, and 1997 Jeep Wrangler.

The suspect Brian Smith was arrested on charges of possession of Schedule 11 for resale, possession of drug paraphernalia, simple possession of marijuana, and possession of Scheduled V for resale.

Smith was transported to the Lawrence County Jail were he was booked on a $46,000 bond.
