Vehicle burglary

A fifty-six year old Lawrenceburg woman reported to police officers Monday that she had left her purse inside of her 2012 Nissan Sentra while she went inside of Quik Mart #30 located at 2100 North Locust Avenue. She told officers that she had failed to lock her doors and returned to find that her purse had been stolen. She said that, in addition to personal items, the purse contained four bottles of prescription medications. Loss was estimated to be $40.

Theft

On Tuesday, an employee of the Dollar General Store located at 902 North Military Avenue reported to police officers that two men had left the store carrying three 12 packs of beer for which they had not paid. Once they exited the store, the employee said they headed south through the parking lot. Loss was said to total $28.35.
