Parolee arrested after drugs are found inside her home
Lawrenceburg Now
A Lawrenceburg resident who had been free on parole was returned to custody last week when drugs were found inside of her home.
State probation officers requested the assistance of Lawrenceburg Police officers while they were conducting a compliance visit on thirty-one year old Britta Danielle Rumbaugh at 824 Windsor Drive.
They told officers that they had found a glass vial containing methamphetamine, plastic baggies, six Suboxone strips, and digital scales concealed in the pockets of jackets hanging in her closet. In addition, they had found a metal spoon that bore drug residue lying on the closet floor.
Police officers assisted in a search of the home and additionally found two syringes above the washer and dryer in Rumbaugh’s utility room, two pill cutters in a kitchen cabinet, and two swords lying about.
When they sorted through the evidence once again, they discovered another baggie containing meth and what was believed to be Xanax. Officers seized a total of 1.29 grams of meth.
Rumbaugh was transported to the Lawrence County Detention Center where she was booked under charges that include possession of Schedule III narcotics for the purpose of resale, two counts of possession of Schedule II narcotics for the purpose of resale, possession of drug paraphernalia, and unlawful possession of a weapon. She was held under a bond of $62,000.
Rumbaugh has been scheduled an initial appearance in Lawrence County General Sessions Court on July 14, 2017.
