Theft
Police officers spoke with a Second Street resident Saturday who reported a $100 loss as the result of a theft. He said that he had been charging his cell phone at a neighbor’s house when it went missing.

Officers responded to a Fourth Street home where the resident reported that someone had illegally entered her 1999 Jeep Laredo and stole her purse and the contents. She estimated her loss to be $75.

Officers answered a call to Manor Drive where one of the residents reported a loss of $170, indicating that her wallet had been stolen out of her unlocked vehicle.

A Beckham Avenue resident stopped by the police department to report that a variety of mechanic and carpentry tools had been stolen out of his shed along with seven fishing rods and reels and a red wagon. Altogether, the items had a value of $2,400.
Theft
A wallet and contents was stolen out of an unlocked truck at a Sundown Drive home Tuesday. Shortly afterwards a woman who had been walking along First Street found credit and debit cards belonging to the victim and turned them in at the police department.
