Head Coach, Greg Holt, made this statement, “I am very proud of this outstanding team of athletes and all they have accomplished this season. We have worked hard in practice and consistently placed near the top in competition this season.
We set a goal in March of this year to bring a State Championship Trophy back to Lawrence County. Last year our varsity placed 4th in the State and our Jr Varsity was 6th. Two years ago our Jr. Varsity placed 3rd in the State.
A large number of the shooters on these past State teams are still with us, which means we have the experience of competing with the best of the best and I am confident we have the ability to accomplish our goal in Nashville this year, I would also like to thank my assistant coaches and their hard work and dedication, Shane Eaton and Shawn Walters”.
