Theft
A resident of Goodhope Road reported to police officers Monday that someone had stolen her son’s green Razor scooter, valued at $25. She said the scooter had been left in the yard, just outside of her apartment.
Aggravated burglary
An Ethridge man reported to police officers that he had experienced a $500 loss at the hand of thieves. He reported that while he was inside of Clark’s Gym on North Locust Avenue in Lawrenceburg, someone illegally entered his 2012 Jeep Wrangler and stole a Taurus 9mm handgun along with his vehicle keys.
Vehicle theft
Officers spoke with a Parrish Street resident who said that while he was in the process of moving to another address, someone had taken his 2004 Subaru parked in the driveway. He said the vehicle, valued at $5,000 had maintenance issues.
Burglary
Officers responded to a Hayes Avenue home where the resident reported a loss of around $255. He reported that someone had broken into his shed and stole a Craftsman brand table saw and skill saw.
Shoplifting
Personnel at Walmart reported a loss of $122 when a man left the store without paying for a set of Pioneer Woman cookware. They said he bypassed the checkout registers entirely.
Shoplifting
Officers were called to Walmart to investigate when security personnel were unsuccessful in detaining a man who left the store without paying for a Vizio sound bar and two quarts of ATF fluid. They had a combined value of $236.54.
