Thursday Morning Meeting Planned For Lawrenceburg Council

Members of the Lawrenceburg Board of Mayor and Council are scheduled to meet in regular session Thursday morning.

Four items of business currently appear on the council’s agenda. They include an amendment to the 2014-15 fiscal year budget and a resolution to appoint Letisha Grayson to complete the term of Virgil Smith on the Housing Authority Board.

Also on the agenda is a resolution, “Authorizing the sale and providing the details of not-to-exceed $5,000,000 General Obligation Bonds, Series 2015D, of City of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, and providing for the levy of ad valorem taxes in connection therewith.”

The last item of business is a resolution, “To authorize the amendment of resolution 2015-26-2B for the purchase of five vehicles for the Lawrenceburg Police Department to amend the amortization statement with First Volunteer to include $6,722.92 over a period of four years.”

The public meeting will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the council meeting room at the Lawrenceburg Municipal Complex, located on the public square.
