LCHS Shooting Team competed in the Regional Trap Shoot June 3rd at the Nashville Gun Club

The team score of 480 was enough to place 4th in the Region out of 35 Teams.  Leading the team in individual scores, Sam Brown shot a 99 out of 100, Cody Moss 97, JC Mills 96, Ali Beck 95, Ty Johnson 93, Tate Staggs 92, Ben Watson 91, Kyle Brown 91 and Evan Cotton 90. 

Sam Brown’s 99 was high enough to put him in a 4 way shoot off for 2nd place High Overall in the Senior Male Division. 

The shoot off took place under the lights on the main field with 100+ spectators observing.  Brown advanced through 2 rounds of the shoot off where he was finally eliminated at the 22yrd line.

Sam took home 2nd runner up with his 146 out 150 performance for the day. 

LCHS will complete at the Tennessee State Tournament on June 24th at the Nashville Gun Club.
