Friday Crime Report
Shoplifting
Walmart officials reported to police officers Monday that they had detained three persons in connection with a shoplifting incident. Amanda Mae SEaver, 35, of 204 Main Street, St. Joseph and Jason Daniel Mattheson, 41, of 377 Rascaltown Road, Loretto, were both issued citations on a charge of shoplifting. Employees reported that Seaver had removed items from the packages and concealed them in her purse. Mattheson reportedly watched as she did so. A third person, Anita Kaye Loyd, 30, of 741 Turnpike was cited for criminal trespass. Store officials said that she was with the couple, but had signed a no trespass form in January of 2015.
