Man riding mower through neighbors’ yards incarcerated for public intoxication
Lawrenceburg Now
After neighbors lodged complaints about a man riding a lawnmower through several yards Sunday, police officers took a Fain Court resident into custody for being intoxicated in public.
Reports filed through the Lawrenceburg Police Department show that fifty-six year old Jerome Madden of 210 Fain Court was taken into custody at approximately 4:20 p.m.
When they arrived on the scene, police officers report that Madden “was obviously under the influence of alcohol.” They report that, due to his level of intoxication, he posed a danger to himself. He was therefore arrested on one count of public intoxication and transported to the Lawrence County Detention Center for incarceration.
Madden has been scheduled an initial appearance in General Sessions Court on June 3, 2016.
