Victim reports she was raped inside of a camper
Lawrenceburg Now
Lawrenceburg Police officers were asked to initiate an investigation into a rape incident reported by a local woman at the emergency room Thursday.
Officers were called to Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems by hospital personnel. The victim, age twenty-four, reported that the incident had occurred when she spent the night with a forty-three year old man in his camper on Buffalo Road. She said that he had given her a small white pill that she believed to be Percocet “for her back pain.”
The victim reported that the man had made sexual advances which she rejected. Afterwards, she said he “forcibly took off her clothes and raped her.”
The victim told officers that she tried to push the man off of her. She said he got up and “told her to stop acting like a two year old.” She said he took her to get some food, then dropped her off at the home of a friend. The friend then drove her to the hospital.
No arrest had been made at the time reports were filed, however investigation into the allegations was on-going.
