Woman who said she saw baby demon in attic transported for evaluation

Lawrenceburg Police officers were asked to intervene last week after a woman claimed she had seen a baby demon inside of the attic at a local apartment complex.

Officers report that they were already on-sight to assist with a Department of Children’s Services investigation when they were approached by a woman who reported that there was someone prowling about inside her mother’s vehicle.

Officers said the woman, identified as twenty-five year old Skylar Jordyn Cook of 200 Highway 64 West in Waynesboro, shined a flashlight inside the car and began taking pictures from the balcony. She showed the pictures to officers. They said that she “repeatedly zoomed in saying she could see faces and could see (a particular man) inside the vehicle.” Officers said they were unable to see anything suspicious.

Family members told officers that before they arrived, Cook had gone into an attic crawl space and told them that she “saw a baby demon with its eyes opening and closing and its forked tongue sticking out.”

DCS officials administered a drug test and reports show that Cook did have methamphetamine in her system along with other drugs. Officers report that “for her safety” Cook was transported to the emergency room for evaluation.
