A multi-agency effort in Lawrence County resulted in a large bust of narcotics.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol had a recovery of a stolen four wheeler in Maury County this week which led Lawrence County Investigators to a North Brace Road property on Wednesday where drugs were discovered.

After deputies arrived they were able to obtain a consent to search the residence, and found approximately 943 Gabapentin, seven Suboxone, one gram of Methamphetamine, and numerous items of paraphernalia.

Deputies arrested Mary Adams, Brooke Buchanan, Vickie Kelley, and Ashlyn Agent charging the four with possession of schedule II for resale, possession of schedule III for resale, possession of schedule V for resale, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sheriff John Myers stated, "This week's recovery of the narcotics and drug related arrests shows that when law enforcement agencies work together, we get the results our citizens expect. These efforts are paying off by removing addicting and harmful drugs from our county."
