Vehicle burglary
A Geri Street resident reported Thursday that someone had entered her vehicle sometime between 9:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. the previous night. The contents were rummaged through and approximately $4 worth of change stolen.
Vehicle burglary
A resident reported Wednesday that someone had burglarized her vehicle during the previous night. Papers were removed from the console and the console damaged. Reported missing was a pair of sunglasses.
Vehicle burglary
On Thursday, a Franke Street resident reported that his audio system had been stolen from his Chevrolet Aveo sometime between 10:00 p.m. Wednesday and 4:30 a.m. Thursday. The vehicle, he said, had been left unsecured.
Recovered property
A wallet was located outside of a Clearview Avenue apartment complex Thursday and turned over to police officers. A resident had found the wallet where it had been discarded atop her bird bath in the front yard.
Shoplifting
Police officers were called to Walmart last week where security personnel reported that $10.73 worth of merchandise had been removed from the shelves and brought to the Customer Service desk for a refund. Dixie Marie Matthews, 22, of 311 Brannon Street, was issued a citation on a charge of shoplifting. She is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on June 27.
Vehicle burglary
A resident of Long Branch Road reported to police officers Wednesday that someone had stolen a Diamondback 9mm pistol and case along with a box of ammunition out of his vehicle the previous night. He said the vehicle had been parked overnight in front of his home. Loss was approximately $355.
Vehicle burglary
On Wednesday a Hilltop Drive resident reported to police officers that her wallet had been stolen after she had shopped at Walmart on North Locust Avenue. The victim said that she had placed her purchases inside her 2005 Toyota Tacoma, then pushed her cart to the cart rack. She said that the wallet had been left in her truck while she did so. It wasn’t until she got home that she realized her wallet was missing. She estimated her loss to be $144.
Vehicle burglaries
Officials with South End BP reported to police officers Wednesday that someone had burglarized three vehicles belonging to the business and one that belonged to a customer, sometime overnight. Around $450 of items were stolen, including two Rockford jump box kits and a Kenwood radio.
Theft
An officials with Advanced Financial reported to police officers Thursday that, on three separate occasions, a twenty-eight year old female resident of Pulaski had come into his business and cashed checks, forging his name. Later, he said, they learned that the checks had been stolen from another Pulaski resident.
Recovered property
Police officers were called to the offices of the Tennessee Highway Patrol Friday to initiate an investigation after an Amish man had found a wallet discarded on the roadside. The man spotted the wallet around forty feet off of the roadway while traveling along Springer Road, behind Walmart.
Shoplifting
A citation for shoplifting was issued to Dorothy May Suren of 106 Bluff Drive, Lawrenceburg, on Friday after Walmart loss prevention officers reported watching as she concealed $13.94 worth of merchandise on her person. They said she attempted to leave without paying for the items. In addition, personnel reported that Suren had painted her fingernails while in the store, but that she did not pay for the nail polish. She will be required to appear in General Sessions Court on May 23, 2016.
