Residents report damages on First Street

Lawrenceburg Now

During the weekend residents of First Street in Lawrenceburg reported that substantial damages had been done to their property by a motorist.

Both residents filed complaints with the Lawrenceburg Police Department at around 10:30 Saturday morning.

The first resident said that she had gone outside to find that someone had struck the brick entry to her driveway with a vehicle. She said that the damages occurred sometime after 4:00 a.m. Damages were estimated at $350.

The second resident told police officers that she had discovered that her mailbox had been destroyed and that a wooden post and bricks around the base had sustained damage. She also said the damages had been incurred sometime after 4:00 a.m. Her loss was said to be $225.

Both incidents currently remain under investigation.
