Lawrenceburg Now
Theft
A resident of Hillview Drive reported to deputies that someone had stolen his male Golde Doodle dog out of his fenced yard. The crime occurred when he was away from his home between 5:45 and 8:15 p.m. on the night of April 11th. The dog was valued at $1,800.
Shoplifting
Employees of Dollar General Store on Highway 43 South in St. Joseph reported that a woman had been caught on security video stealing shampoo and body wash. They were able to identify the woman and she was located at Sycamore Campground. At that time deputies report that she was found to be in possession of the items. The suspect, twenty-one year old Jessica Elizabeth Ganshorn of 371 Bluff Road, Loretto was cited on a theft charge and informed that she was not allowed to be back on the store property.
Theft
A resident of South Old Military Road, St. Joseph, filed a complaint with sheriff's deputies, indicating that a Sun Dolphin kayak, valued at $500, was stolen out of his outbuilding.
