Synthetic urine found in purse of woman entering courthouse

Lawrenceburg Now

An Alabama woman faces charges after deputies discovered that she was carrying synthetic urine in her purse in the hopes of beating a drug test.

Reports filed through the Lawrence County Sheriff's Department show that the contraband was discovered last Thursday during a routine search at the entrance of the Courthouse. Deputies report that they were searching a purse belonging to thirty-eight year old Kendra Dawn Butler of Rogersville, Alabama when they found the bottle of yellow liquid.

Butler identified the liquid as synthetic urine, saying that she was on probation and had been carrying it in the hopes of using it to pass a drug test.

Butler was taken to the Lawrence County Detention Center and incarcerated on a charge of possession of synthetic urine.
