Tuesday Crime Report

Theft

Police officers responded to a Mahr Avenue home where the resident reported that several items had been stolen. She said that she had bought the items for a relative who was about to be released from jail. Items stolen included women’s socks, panties, shoes, and a picture. Officers found no sign of forced entry. Loss was around $95.

Theft

A Bluff Drive resident reported to officers that, while moving out of her apartment, her ex-boyfriend stole more than $4,000 worth of her belongings. A couch, chair, lounger, bed, chest of drawers, and dresser were reported stolen.

Fraud/forgery

A Lawrenceburg woman filed a complaint with police officers recently after she learned that someone had stolen and forged her checks. She reported that she knew the individual who had committed the crime. She said as far as she knew, her loss totaled $250.
