Warrants served leads to drug charges

On Monday, April 16, 2018 Narcotics Investigators with the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department located Greg Michael Doss (34) of Lawrenceburg, TN, at a local business and was able to serve him on several outstanding felony warrants.

During a search of Mr. Doss’s pockets, a bag of meth along with a syringe was located. A canine unit with the narcotics division deployed his canine on Mr. Doss’s vehicle and the dog indicated the odor of illegal narcotics coming from the vehicle.

The search yielded a total 17.6 grams of methamphetamine, 61 grams of marijuana, 4 ¼ Xanax 2 mg bars, oxycodone pill, metal spoon, grinder, digital scales, butane torch, and other items of drug paraphernalia.

Also located in the vehicle was a loaded 45 caliber handgun and a box of ammunition. Mr. Doss was served on the outstanding warrants and was issued new warrants for possession of schedule II for resale (meth), possession of schedule IV, possession of schedule VI for resale, possession of schedule II (oxycodone), unlawful possession of a weapon, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Greg Michael Doss is currently incarcerated at the Lawrence County Detention Center on a $279,000 bond for all charges.
